Adolph Named House GOP Appropriations Chair

Three way race takes two ballots

State House Republicans voted yesterday for Bill Adolph (R-Delaware) as Minority Chair of the important House Appropriations Committee.

Mr. Adolph was chosen after two rounds of secret balloting, the first of which eliminated state Rep. Doug Reichley (R-Lehigh) from contention.

On the second ballot, Mr. Adolph wound up with more votes than state Rep. Stan Saylor (R-York), who was also contending for the seat.
