April Collections Down, Down, Down

21st consecutive month of revenue shortfalls

The Rendell Administration released revenue figures for April on Monday which revealed lower-than-expected collections figures, following similarly short collections from March.

Pennsylvania collected $2.9 billion in General Fund revenue in April, which was $390 million less than anticipated. Fiscal year-to-date General Fund collections total $22.8 billion, which is $1.1 billion below the state
