PA Independent looks back at our top stories of the year

PA Independent will not be publishing new material this week as our employees enjoy some time with their families and work on stories for the new year.

Instead, we look back at the past 12 months and offer you a selection of our best work, including important stories that continue to affect the state. Check back each day this week for three stories that shaped the political discussion during 2010.

In the coming months, there will be some changes made to PA Independent, but we will continue to bring you the most important news from Harrisburg on a daily basis and investigative stories focused on the way politicians are spending your money. As 2011 dawns, our mission will remain the same: to hold politicians accountable to the public and to be the capitol watchdog Pennsylvania needs.
