HARRISBURG — Presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney is taking his campaign to Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The Massachusetts governor’s itinerary suggests he’ll focus on state workers, with visits to sites connected to the manufacturing and energy industries central to the commonwealth’s economy.
Romney will make these stops in southeastern Pennsylvania:
Weatherly Casting and Machine Co. at 9:15 a.m. in Weatherly;
WaWa Gas Station at 12:40 p.m. in Quakertown;
Cornwall Iron Furnace at 5:15 p.m. in Cornwall.
But, voters said Romney would do a better job handling the nation’s economy than Obama, 49 percent to 41 percent. Forty-five percent of those polled said Romney would create more jobs, while 43 percent said the same of Obama.
